Michael H. Head is president, CEO and a director of First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville, which he joined in 1980. In 2016, he served the Indiana Bankers Association as chairman, after prior board service as first and second vice chairman and as southwest region director. Head serves the Independent Community Bankers of America as Indiana delegate to the ICBA board and additionally is a member of the ICBA lending committee. He has served in the community as a board member of the University of Southern Indiana (USI) Foundation, Deaconess Health System and Habitat for Humanity of Evansville. Head currently serves on the Community Bank Advisory Council of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, the advisory board of the USI Romain School of Business, the West Side Professional and Business Association and as treasurer of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation board. Head earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA from the University of Evansville. He was named a Sagamore of the Wabash in 2016.
